Invitation to Google Apps Customer Connect Conference April 10-11 2012

Hi There!

In lieu of a Google Apps meetup for the Northwest and Southwest Regional User Groups this year, we are inviting members to attend our Customer Connect Conference at Google’s Mountain View headquarters on April 10-11 2012. This event is intended for Google Apps administrators from organizations who have deployed or committed to deploy Google Apps in the Northwest or Southwest regions of the U.S. and Canada. Regional breakdowns for the groups can be viewed at appsusersgroup.com.

Agenda includes:
  • Google Apps Roadmap
  • Apps Script Hackathon
  • Customer Stories and Best Practices
  • Engagement with Product Managers and the Google Apps team
  • Free Lunch, Dinner, and Social Events

Time: 9:30am - 4pm, Mountain Time - Arizona

Directions and Notes:
  • Please arrive between 30 minutes before to 30 minutes after scheduled arrival time or space will be released to the public.
  • Payment is due when exiting the lot. Parking fee is $2.00 per hour or $8.00 for the day.
  • Please check in with the attendant upon entry into the lot and take a parking ticket. If the lot full sign is out, reservations are still accepted. Pull up and check in with the attendant.
  • Directions to Parking Structure 1 Visitor: From Apache Boulevard turn North onto Normal Street. Turn left onto Lemon Street. Take a left into the structure and check in with the attendant. If you have questions, please call our office at 480-965-6209.

First Group Meeting!

We have now confirmed the date for the Southwest Users Group kickoff meeting: Monday September 26, 2011 at Arizona State University.

The meeting will begin at 9:30am with Registration and end at 4:00pm at Arizona State University.  This first meeting will cover a number of interesting topics related to Apps use and administration, talks from Google employees, and provide the opportunity to meet other Apps users and set the direction for future meetings and other group activities.

Space is limited at the facility.  As a result we ask that an organization send no more than 2 representatives and meet the following requirements:
  • Current Google Apps for Education (K-12, Community/Technical College or 4 year College) or Google Apps Business customer (Fortune 1000)
  • Directly involved in either the administration, support or development of services related to Google Apps
  • Conduct business in the southwest region of the United States (Southern CA, AZ, NV, UT, CO, NM, TX, and OK)
